I don't know what they are made out of but I think they are those that you describe. Man, comic shops tend to hike the prices too much. I guess I'll have to visit one to find out. Thanks for the info.

I think he is talking about these. I just want the Sentry, I had my LCS order a case so I could get 2. It looks like the reason we have never seen these things at close out stores is because they put unsold figs in comic packs....or something like that. But this is a Scan from my Previews Mag from Diamond.

Take a cobra trooper. Remove the web gear and helmet. Scratch off the Cobra icon, and voila you have a random masked thug.

Out of curiosity, has anyone every spotted MU figs at Kohl's? The reason why I ask is because they carry IM2 figs and Transformer's deluxes and scouts. Sometimes, they carry hard to find items. i.e. IM2 Hulkbuster, Generations Drift and Thrust, etc.

Not that I can recall... I only heard of finds at Kroegers... but sometimes people mention they find MU figs at smaller stores, but don't mention them by specific name.

Yeah, they are like at 100+ of them. I never seen them up close. How do they look? Are they in scale of the MUs?

No they are tiny... like maybe around 2.5"... some maybe a little bigger (like Galactus), but definitely not even close to MU scale.

I think it depends on the store. I went to mine a couple weeks ago and they had no action figures what so ever. Not even Star Wars. Back when the 25th was out my store didn't carry them but the one the next town over did. It appears to be a crap shoot.

They would make great stand-ins for characters we haven't got in MU yet if they were in scale, but they're 3" for whatever reason. I bought the Tigra when she came out to see how she would look next to MU but it just doesn't work, she looks like a kid (kitten?)
