Yeah, I had that smaller series 2 (??) version that was carded upside-down. But I replaced it with the HoM version. I like that body and face much better. Cool idea with Doc Strange. I knew about Carpenter Spider Woman, but I mostly put her down with the Spidey group for symmetry purposes. That is another OCD thing about my collection.

True, but at the same time I think a lot of those sets pegwarmed b/c all of the MOTUC collectors already had those figures, same with the DC figures. The only set that sold well was Bizarro and Battle Armor Faker, which collectors wanted. Plus there was nothing to market it with to anyone outside of collectors. I think it was bad way to get MOTUC into retail. A regular line with new figures, with some sort of support, would probably do better.

My wife and I are both huge True Blood fans. We met most of the cast at Dragon Con the last couple years.
And yes there is shit tons of sex in the GoT books. JLU had a rabid fan base (myself included at one point) The 5 POA was actually a big selling point to the collectors of the line. They felt extra articulation would've broken up the clean lines of Bruce Timm's aesthetic. Leave my YJ alone! I don't get this line of thinking. I feel that Mattel gave collectors exactly what they were asking for. There was a huge outcry from the collecting community when JLU was cancelled after an unprecedented 10 year run. 5-6 years of that was after the show was no longer on the air. Which is unheard of nowadays. The articulation didn't kill YJ. The price point (primarily), distribution, and the long gaps between new episodes killed it. That what happens when you don't read the comics... you miss out on things like that.

OCD should be driving you to group them where Marvel says they should be vs. what costume they wear

But do you buy 2 Wolverines--one to put with Avengers and one to put with X-Men?

multiples of the same person can't exist on the same shelf. no way. drives me nuts seeing the same figure side by side. if i do a new avengers team dio then yes, i'll put a Wolverine in it- but team dios are on a seperate shelf and are seperated enough so you can tell groupings just by looking. so x-men FC and X-Suit X-men and UXF and Blue/Gold X-teams can all be together with multiples of the same character on each team- but it's obvious that they are in team groupings... there is a pictures of my MU shelf with a small map/legend/key that explains the groupings.... it's sort of weird

I don't see that anywhere. I did just enjoy the trade series of the Red Hulk vs. X-factor. It's been so long since I sat and read comics, but I enjoyed it. Although Deadpool was his usual annoying self.
