Me? Why do I need to panic? I have all of you great guys/shems to trade with. I haven't overpaid for a single thing in the 2 years I've been on the Tank. Even more so when I became a regular in this thread. The prices will undulate. People will bitch, jump ship, jump back on again, and I'll sit here patiently waiting for things to return to normal.

So.. on a positive note I'm finally getting to see Kasabian (a British band I've been a fan of since like.. 2003) in a week. I hope they sound better than this though, usually they are incredible live (they win lots of best live bands awards in England). Still awesome.
I will never stop collecting toys, prices flucuate, duh, silly people. Try collecting vinyl records (especially newer releases). I sold $7 7" singles for $50-100 before. Sometimes just weeks after release! I've grown out of music for the most part as a hobby, I just enjoy it now and don't buy many records.

I should mention, the UFC figures at FD do NOT come with build a ring or whatever pieces. But for $5 they still make good custom fodder.

If folks want to quit collecting then so be it. It means I have less competition for figures I am after. The prices will drop down and settle eventually anyway. The only way I could see it being a nightmare would be if I was a completist, which I'm not. I cherry pick MU and most everything else I collect, especially Star Wars. I buy the stuff I like and leave the others to keep the pegs nice and warm till the next person comes along to potentially buy them.
So far that's worked out just fine for me.
