I went to the local comic shop and saw this is the display case. I looks like it is in new condition and came with both parts of the sword as well as the staff for only $4.95 do to the condition i figured i had to buy it. I dont collect he-man stuff but do have a few things from my childhood. I thought i heard that these were going to be made again and figured that might make this worth something. Anyone have any idea what it might be worth? Any idea when and why they are making new ones? Movie? Anyway i figured i would ask seeing as thou i have seen skeletor mentioned on this site as well as a 3 3/4 custom recently done that looked cool.

This is one from the line back in 2002ish. There are brand spanking new ones being released by Mattel through mattycollector.com right now; in fact, Skeletor went on sale yesterday. He-Man and Beast Man are sold out, though.

Thanks , i thought he looked in to good of shape for being from the 80's. Must be from that 2002 line. He does also have the button on his back that moves his right arm in battle motion. I thought it was cool anyway.

This was the line that got me back into collecting toys. After spending way too much on Star Wars figs and coming the relization I'd never have enough, the line would go one forever and I can't afford this, I quit toys. Then Mattel released these 2 years later and I couldn't resist.
Now the new figs at mattycollector look great but I spend so much on Joes I can't rationalize buying them. Go figure. (no pun intended)
