The way I read it, and it's not exactly clear, is not that you need a license, but rather that you have to test every item to meet the new lead content regulations. You can sell your old stuff but it has to be tested and be accompanied by a certificate saying same.

Well right now would be the time to unload some stuff on E bay. If there is enough fear right now then the prices will go to the moon. People who have been holding off for those Terrordromes or faggs will have to get them now. People who have them will consider selling now knowing they can get more money.

I would expect to see some sort of exemption made for the resale of items, it's just too broad to leave it like this. Clothing, kids furniture, paints, brushes, towels, everything that someone under 12 years old touches would fall into this ban. It's almost inconceivable that it would not get some sort of special exemption. We'll see.

Well, it is because of Ebay that I was able to re-buy my childhood collection and now own every Joe figure from 82-87 again, so that would suck big time if they went down. Not to mention the hundreds (600+) items I have been able to sell on Ebay, including tons of 80's carded figures. Believe me figures were way more expensive before Ebay came along not to mention baseball cards.
So the US is basically a communist country now right? |
