I just received my "She Predator" yesterday. I just wanted to see if any one loves the Hot toys stuff. I think they have the best figures on the market( granted you pay for it)
Aliens. I bought the entire line of the space marines. The armour is spot on. they look exactly like the movie. The smart gun operators have an emergency release cable that looks like if pulled it would work (I'm assuming it does works but I don't want to try to put the armour back together again) The armour can be adjusted. the rifles and pistols have clips that come out and slides that work. The weathering on the boots is great the actually look like worn out jungle boots (some of the boots even have laces) there are velcro name tags on the uniform. all in all they could be minuturizations of real objects. The heads look great (nothing like the actors but that doesn't bother me at all) The only complaint I have are they are difficult to assemble. remember I said they are minuturizations of the real thing. well you have clips and buckles all in scal for 1/6 fingers, they are difficult to assemble with 1/1 fingures. but the end result is amazing. Predator I wanted one of their predator figures because of how awsome the marines were. finding them for a decent price or even available was hard. I saw the Maricko(sp I think thats how you spell it) she predator (a human female in predator armour with an alien head shield "based" on the first avp comic/movie) I decided that would be my predator figure. again the amazing detail is here heiroglyphics written on her sword. a predator spear that actually extends (becareful putting it back because its sharp) she has a hook on her back for it. I was weary of the shoulder armour at first thinking it would slide down as soon as I slipped it up the arm. but it is molded to fit perfectly as soon as it gets to the top you can feel it tightening as reaches where it is suposed to be it fits snuggly. The gnarly looking sword that looks like it won't fit in the sheath fits perfectly. I like the look of her face and dreads, the predator mask fits on her face. Complaints: again not easy to assemble with 1/1 scale fingers. The chest armour hangs a little low and her erect nipple sometime sticks out.(yes to my surprise she has nipples) |
