New in-hand images of Toynami's long awaited MPC Beta Fighter have surfaced! After years of waiting, fans will finally be able to dock their Alpha Fighter MPC toys with their larger counterparts. This is the one of only three toys made of the Beta Fighter. The first was made by Gakken/Lansay, in very limited quantities, back in the 1980's. The second was made from CMs corp earlier this year, and is not widely available outside of Japan. These two releases were sold under the Genesis Climber Mospeada banner as the Tread(the CMs version has only been sold as part of a set with it's smaller Legioss counterpart). This toy will probably be sold by Aoshima in Japan, in Mospeada packaging, as part of Aoshima's 1/48 Mospeada Action Model line. The Beta Fighter is a welcome addition to both Toynami's masterpiece collection, and the fans of the Beta Fighter who never means to obtain one domestically, until now.

I am an old Mospeada fan from WAY BACK and can't wait to dock my Alpha to that bad boy. I ordered mine at supertoybazaar.com as I have had great luck with them on past orders and they had the best price.

Any Invid to go up against these badboys on the horizon? Sorry, I'm always asking about enemy mecha...but what's the point if my Alpha's got no one to face off against, from a diorama standpoint.

Well... it took like 27 years to finally get a mass produced Beta Fighter so I guess we will see an enemy mecha around 2030
....and it will be about $10,000 |
