Man, I am really thinking about getting these and these pics have just pushed me closer to committing to buy them. Star Wars and GI Joe.....now He-Man. Damn!

They are in a perfect scale
The MOTUC line looks great next to the 2k series! I'll might mix and match some. I agree the $20 price tag is a bit steep, but meh I'm used to it here... ~_~ Even G.I.Joe's cost 5x as much in Holland back in the '80's and all 5" figures were Fl. 20,- guilders. Now if that $20 would only include shipping... I'm going to collect this line because it is very nostalgic to me because MOTU was my first action figure toyline. I really hate the wide bulky look of the old vintage '80's figures nowadays. I came to like the MOTU property all over again when the 2k series launched and collected all the regular retailed 2k figures and love them. These new MOTUC are even cooler because they have the vintage look with right proportions. |

I've got King Greyskull, and would love to get the major figures from this series. Unfortunately, the only way I can do that is by selling off other items and building my PayPal account up.

I wish Hasbro would give NYCC some great G.I. Joe exclusives too but I'll definitely pick up the Fakers.I'm planning to meet up with someone from the Transformers site TFW2005.com at the Javitts center.I'm coming from upstate NY so I still got to plan out the train ride.I don't think I want to drive through the yellow cab a*holes and pay $40 for parking

But $7 for a 3 3/4" figure is ok...
These are collector items and made and marketed as suck, not as a toy. And am I correct in saying that these won't be available in stores? If that's the case, that makes them an exclusive item. I have no problem with this price point. I was always a HUGE MOTU fan, Joes were my second love. |
