Would you support a Kickstarer (Kickstarter) campaign to launch a new figure line?
I would think a launch would be a smaller set similar to s convention set type deal. The figures would be using most if not all the same parts with head and/or paint variations. Please feel free to comment on what type of things you think would grab your attention. |

It all depends on what the line would be.
An IDW inspired line. PoC articulation and weapons. |

Sgt Major Haley,
It would be a non-Joe line with figures sized to work with G.I.Joes and other 3 3/4" lines due to licensing. For professional manufacturing there is a min. amount of production run. I looking at a realistic first run that would be try to balance price, min. molds, and good articulation. |

Would need to see story concept, art concept, articulation concept, etc.. before would give any support.
Just asking "would you support it" is too vague. Define the concept, how well it's meant to interact with Joe and other lines, etc..

Yes. And have done so in the past. Myself and many others successfully funded a little not-BattleBeast line. Unfortunately it didn't go into production due to issues with the manufacturer.
Just be prepared to pay $50 per figure. |

Troynos,
I agree concept art and story would be need to promote and get people to buy in. I was more exploring the avenue if people would be likely to support something using Kickstarter. I have seen it work some other mediums. I have also seen too much hype without results too. Paco |
