Alright I've been collecting GI Joes 25th for a few months and can't help but look at the Transformers when I enter the Joe section.
Can someone explain to me what all the Transformer toy lines are? Is there a 25th redone version of the original Transformers out there that people collect? I've the seen the movie line, but that doesn't seem to match the original stuff. |

There are currently 3 TF lines in stores now. The movie line which is pretty much finished, the Animated Series based on the current cartoon and then the Universe aka Classics line which sometime in the near future will sport the 25th logo on them just like the Joes did. The Universe, (aka Classics 2.0) are the current remakes of the origianl G1 guys. The original classics line was released about 2 years ago now and the universe line is just following that line but this current line does contain a large amount of repaints from older lines( cybertron, energon, ect..) but those are mostly the larger boxed figures, there are few new molds in the voyager and Ultra class but alot of them are repaints.

Now while the vehicles modes dont always match up to the original G1 guys, the robot modes are just awesome.. I have all of my original G1 guys next to their classics counterpart and the new figures just blow away the old figures in robot mode, I still like a lot of the original guys for thier vehicle modes and even more so for thier diecast but these new TFs are breathing a much need breath of new life into the TF line..

The robot forms of the Universe Deluxe line look much better than the original.
What is the difference between the Deluxe, Voyager, and Ultra? Have they released classics like the Insecticons or Constructibots or Dinobouts in their classic colors? |

when deluxe, voyager, and ultra think of small medium and large in a way.
they have re-released the insecticons i think bbts from japan still has them the constucticons have been re-released infact you can almost find constructicons at big lots its a cheap knock off but basically it just not as good. |

I am collecting the Henkei and Classics (Universe) series...
Look up the Trasformers Henkei, they are great. They Transform well and they look very much like their original versions. Also they are cheap...7.77 at Walmart.
