The original 21st M2 Bradley is actually Plastic. The metal version is from Motorworks (I think or something like that). Also the original M2 is in Woodland camo with full working hatches.

Motorworks is the off-brand that Walmart forced 21C into packaging their product in for a year and a half. Both versions of the Nato (Many call this the Camo version) and the Tan of the M2 that you are referring to are stamped as 21st Century Toys. True, the Nato was plastic and the Tan was diecast.

No doubt. Originally I was just collecting the 1:32 FoV Desert Storm stuff. Then I couldn't resist their 1:72 offerings of the same. But the Woodland LAV just didn't fit in, but now that they are coming back with more woodlands and greens, crap, here we go again...

The old 1/32nd stuff from Unimax is almost completely diecast, except for the Abrams. I have 7 of them. The new Unimax Bravo Team 1/32 is plastic junk. The Stryker weighs less than your mouse. The good news is, the Team Bravo 1/32 is identical to the 1/18th, but with less features. The Bradley's rear hatch does not open. This is good because it implies the 1/18th will be made, will look exactly like the 1/32nd and will have an opening rear hatch.
tkj, your Bradley looks much nicer than the one thunderdan gave me: Last edited by pcsguy88; 01-14-2009 at 10:06 PM.. |

Here is what my F-104 looks like on the top shelf. The 1:18 21C Mig-15 Bis is on the 2 shelf next to the 1:18 21C F-86 Sabre. The lower pic is of the German Me 262 B-1a "Schwalbe" and the Me 262 B-1a/U1 "Nacht Jager" in 1:18 scale by 21C. Last edited by Starfighter; 01-15-2009 at 12:25 AM.. |
