Got my Pave Hawk in last week and it is freakin' awesome! The thing is much larger assembled than I would have thought.

That's the downside to 1:18 stuff. They don't look too impressive in the box to the degree you can distinguish it's overall size until you get it home and out of the box.
That was THE reason I passed on these when they were at Target. I thought they looked a little under scaled in the packages and couldn't bring myself to pick them up. BIG mistake on my part. |

Yeah, size is a downer too sometimes, unless you have a toy basement like Ewok!!
My F-18 and F-16 are still in the shipping boxes since I've nowhere to put them, and don't trust myself to hang them yet.

1:18 is not all that big compared to buying multiples of G.I. Joe Vehicles. I find that because of the price, I have a lot of space.
Especially, when you put most of your stuff on organized shelves. Just imagine the space that you would have if you hanged them. Here is an example: Now look at how much this takes up below, there is not much difference as they are both considered big in their own right:
