Art, how much was that shelf and what was it called?
Vupa.. I didn't get any yet :( But I really want the Russian one, but of the two MD has I'd get the North Korean one. It seems like a good deal @ $24.95.

I wish someone would have told me before I started collecting what a LARGE hobby this was
I think in the back of my mind I really thought the stuff couldn't be THAT much bigger than Joe vehicles. Yikes. Speaking of.. can anyone throw up some comparison pictures between the Dragonfly and Super Cobra? And the AH-74 Joe "chopper" and the Apache? I can only imagine the size, and laughable differences.

Here's how I have done my display shelves for my 1/18 goodies:
These are older pictures and I've acquired the larger sized shelves of this type for my aircraft and use the pictured ones for my vehicles. I added the wooden panel inserts to each shelf. |

Here are my shelves for one of my walls in the Action figure room below. I got them at Lowe's for $17.99 each last year:

The shelf was 36.98 and its made by Black and Decker. I dont know the name but its like 3' long x 18" wide. This is the cheapest I found them because at Lowes they were 59.99 The only thing I dont like is that the shelves have grates or holes that you have to make sure the vehicles that have wheels dont fall in the grates and position them correct. But you really cant beat it for the price.

Ikea is a collector's best friend for display shelves and cases on the cheap. Wish we had one in KC.
