A year ago the BBI and Bravo Team stuff was all over Targets, about to go on clearance. Now if we could just perfect that time travel technology...

Bravo Team is similar to the BBI stuff, I take it? I'm new at this.
So far I've found True Heroes, World Peackeepers, Power Team Elite, Forces of Valor, BBI and 21st Century. If I've got this straight, BBI and 21st Century are the most expensive but the highest quality, with Forces of Valor and the others in descending order after them - can anyone confirm that for me, so I know I'm on the right path?

sort of similar of the bravo team stuff? they have less paint detail. target is stocking those. they have a tank (forgot which), its a repaint of a bbi tank but also has some differences. one that i know for sure is that the front driver seat does not open on the bravo team one, but its really mostly the paint.

You are on it. Bravo Team (1:18 Forces of Valor) has some pretty good armor but hasn't produced any aircraft/helos to my knowledge. BBI (Elite Force)is probably the pinnacle in terms of quality and selection for modern equipment (also in price - although their Target offering was much more reasonable than at TRU a few years back). 21st has done some really cool stuff, but has focused mainly on WWII and Korean eras. The others have offered some cool stuff, but much more cartoonish and not quite to scale. The lower level stuff would require some pretty extensive customization to even approach BBI. None of the 1:18 scale companies listed has produced figures nearly as articulated as Joes but BBI and Bravo Team have offered some pretty sweet modern soldiers to go with their vehicles. Forces of Valor has also produced some pretty nice smaller scale diecast equipment.

Last year around this time, Target.com actually had the F-16 for around $70. I'd much prefer the Hornet so I was holding out hoping they'd go on clearance. Instead they disappeared. :( |

I'd trade either my 1:18 BBi F/A-18 or 1:18 BBi F-16 for a Yellow Stalker. Pics below:
