I ordered an Airsoft gun from Hong Kong once with the EMS shipping and it literally got to me about 3 hours after it shipped (without factoring in the time difference of course) but I thought that was pretty rad. The longest part was stuck in customs!

Yeah it's unfortunate they'll be THAT high. I wouldn't mind picking them up for retail, but eh... not really all that interested to be honest. The Huey never really floated my boat either. I don't really like Vietnam as an era though.
I wouldn't be collecting near as much as i have now if this stuff wasn't on sale. Overall i like it, but if i had to pay full retail for some of this stuff i would burn some houses down. Most of the 21st Century crap has fallen apart as soon as i get it out of the box. You really have to see the pieces in order to sort the crap from the gems. I really want to add an admiral bird to the collection, but i don't want the same old garbage 21st century has already put out.

At Walmart they would have been 39 and change initially. The Cobra may have been higher, but not terribly so.
Online, however, they probably ran at least 10 bucks higher. |

The Super Cobra, after much thought, is good at retail to x2 retail. 200 bucks and it gets really shaky. |

Jeebus.
I am constantly amazed at how cheap everything was initially at retail, and no one bothered with it, or knew about it! And now it's selling at 3x to 4x the price. I wonder whats different with the market between then and now? Everyone is POOR now so I'd figure the prices would be going the other way. I guess since they don't make them anymore that jumps prices up.. but DEMAND is up now?

If you believe the posts there are some places where the Huey and others went straight from the back room to the shelfs at 50%+ clearance.
