I hope more people start realizing the potential 1/18 has with GI Joe like you all have. Especially the new 25th line. It would breed more collectors and more sales to get the manufacturers and retailers attention. That would lead to more new product of course... |

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm not big on the rivets. Don't want to expect so much that we get nothing if you know what I mean.

The only toy I bring into the bathtub is my wife. I would love a 1/18 rc hovercraft though.

I've been a GI Joe fan since I was a kid. Remember picking up the first issue of the Marvel run and within the next week or so, bam, the first commercial for the Vamp and RAM were on TV. I've been hooked ever since....
I've been mixing my Joes with the 1/18 vehicles since the first of the 1/18 vehicles appeared. The older ARAH scultps didn't fit in as nicely as the new sculpts do though. The 25th line has been a dream come true in my book for allowing me to mix the real world army look with GI Joe in a more aesthetically pleasing look.... I collect very few of the vintage vehicles unless they can be mixed in believably with the 1/18 vehicles, have a sentimental value, or a character packaged with it I want. Joe vehicles like the Vamp and even the AWE (as a beefed up modified fast attack buggy) work fine with the 1/18 vehicle in my opinion. I noticed that many of you have already covered this topic too... |

I bought a new bag, some bubble wrap, and packing tape, then took them back to my hotel room where I carefully removed them from their boxes and proceeded to wrap the hell out of them for transport as a carry on. Made it back home safe and sound and with no damage. That brings my Huey inventory to six now...... And yes, I do need all six of them. I have more Huey customs to do. |
