The Tiger I does have indeed a removable turret. It is actually the most detailed tank out there from all companies. It has weathering and removable TOW cables and all of the hatches open. The Turret is removable and the inside of the tank is just as nice. There is perhaps not a better tank that compares with this one from every company out there in all scales apart from 1:1. R/C models do not even have this much into it from what I have seen. Though, the 1:16 Leopard tank is indeed worthy. In other words, the Tiger I is fantastic.
Others seem to be getting annoyed with the pictures, but then again, this is what this forum is for. I wonder how many are into this hobby because of the pictures that I have provided? Here you go: |

Here is the Tiger I and the M41 Walker Bulldog comparisons. Imagine, they were introduced to their respective armies 5 years apart from one-another but seen their first action 7 years from one-another (1942 and 1949 respectivly).
Here are the pics: |

Mmm, Tiger. Of the 1:18 pieces out there, it's one of the last two i wanna really get. Anything else is just delicious, delicious 1:18 gravy.

Don't think so. You can still get 'em at Smalljoes and Big Cat Aviation, though.

I think I'll go ahead and start selling off my star wars collection to help fund some upcoming 1:18 scale purchases.
If I can come out ahead in money, my wife would be happy. |
