Mmmmhmm. Yeah makes you wonder who came up with the brilliant idea of doing the F-104 and why.

Maybe it was more of "What can we make that will fit in this box?"

Well, whatever the reason they should have shelved the idea.

We have a thunder chief parked out here in front of the post. It's a relatively small fighter as compared to some of the other fighters.

I just don't think any of them were really feasible.
Should have done an H-13 Sioux. It fits in with the Walker Bulldog, which saw limited use in Korea, but it was also used as an observation platform before the introduction of the OH-6 in Vietnam. It also works with P-51s and Corsairs from Korea. Slap some M*A*S*H markings on it, and a figure that looks kinda like Alan Alda and viola. ;) Then again, i've heard that helicopters don't sell well. I just hope Admiral doesn't take a beating from the Skyraider. |

I'm looking forward to the Skyraider actually. Hope it turns out good, and not cost prohibitive.

I think making the landing gear an either/or option is good. I'm crossing my fingers for them.
