The real problem with mixing Joe vehicles and 1/18 vehicles is that it's tough to mix and match the two. Joe vehicles are a more manageable 1/32-1/35 scale. You can't put a 1/18 scale Hornet on a USS Flagg for instance. You couldn't even put one on my carrier as it has been built for 1/32 scale aircraft like the skystriker. You'd have to build a whole 'nother Aircraft Carrier to hold just the F-18 and F-16 (if you wanted to fake it with the Falcon).
I prefer the Joe-scale because you can have more of it for cheaper in a smaller space. The real 1/18 scale stuff (unless it's small like the MiG-15, which is what I have) is so cost and space prohibitive... Especially for the stuff I build.

joe scale is what it is, stuck in the 80's, now if they decided to produce a newer "RESOLUTE" line of 1/18 vehicles then hell yeah im game, but till then, their vehicles remain parked in the base. The only vehicle i really like is the ghosthawk, its good for infantry support and ferrying in the REAL COMMANDOS (GIJOE) then i have my main army (FOV BBI) as backup whenever shit hits the fan. Deltas, Rangers, and Seals all yearn to be a JOE

Maybe we should send the Joes to Somalia to eliminate the pirate threat.

You get what you pay for. It's says something when Lanard is doing better vehicles than Hasbro. Hasbro and a lot of Joe fans are stuck in the past. |
