Any UKers found that "Soldier Force" pack in Morrisons with the APC thing and a plane? Forgive me for not being so great with vehicle names etc! I bought it and am wondering what I can do to remove the logos and paint apps from the plane before I udnercoat it and start work on my improvements to it.

You can try very fine sand paper.
Acetone or MEK will probably work, but you'll run the very real risk of marring the plastic. |

I've used nail varnish remover on figures etc before. Would that be too strong for these plastics?

I haven't been in my local morrisons in ages, but i will pop in and have a look. As for the decals, try brake cleaner. It will totally dossolve ANY adhesive compound WITHOUT doing any damage to plastics or metal. Guaranteed. |

Having never had to use it for its intended purpose, I was unsure of its chemical composition.
Does that reduce my fail?

But Acetone can have mixed results on plastics. It's okay if you are positive what type of plastic it is. But if not, it can be a gamble... |
