They still show it on the contemporary packaging, so it's got to exist. Maybe it's easiest to order it direct, if they have it on their site.
So did they only include 2 attachments before? I'm not too familiar with the vehicle, so I'm still trying to get an understanding of what it did/does/did not include as far as attachments go. I don't personally mind 3 different attachments, even if the loadout is asymmetrical, as long as there's something for both pylons.

I didn't pay much attention to exactly what it was, but it's there.

I see. Well, as long as it comes with an attachment for each pylon, then I could forgive the asymmetry (on an inexpensive kid's toy). But yes, having a symmetrical loadout option would be nice.

I bought one in January that included the third accessory/second asimilar rocket pod. I just assumed that's how they all were.

My neighborhood Big Lots store this week moved the Power Team Elite to the endcap also. They had the same items everyone else reported.

The more I thought about it, the more I wondered why they would add another pod. So I dug mine back out and checked the box, and the third attachment IS included. It's just installed on the pylon that's not visible from outside of the packaging. So unless there is a fourth attachment in this year's set (installed on the pylon not visible from outside the box), then the only difference is the interior packaging.

Does anyone have experience with the Kid Connection military sets? These look kinda cool, or good for customs or just stickers. Do we have a thread for these line? or any reviews?

They are surprisingly sturdy. They do look somewhat disproportionate, but with the right stickers they can look much better. The figures are standard "budget" figures, probably a step below the quality of PTE or True Heroes, but some of them have useful parts for customizing (or let the little ones play along with these instead of more expensive figs). The weapons on the vehicles seem to be hard plastic but the weapons for the figures are oversized and a bit rubbery. Most of the sets range from 4;88 or so to around 20 bucks for the bigger sets. I am planning to grab more for my Eagle Force if I can find some different cool sets. For the money, in my opinion, you get a good value. I haven't tried painting them so I can't comment on the plastic or its consistency but the price and lack of comparable options, I think they are pretty cool. |

M&C sent a receipt to me today and they say my order should ship by Thursday. Their math was about $0.30 off on the 15% discount (in their favor) but I let it slide.
I will keep you gents posted on the progress of my order so you can decide whether or not you want to give them a try.
