I have both. The IFV I wouldn't buy again if I had it to do over again. It has no real interior and the hatches can't close with a figure inside the hole (I have these for my kids to play with). Scale-wise, it's probably a bit less than 2 HISS tanks long, if that helps. The blue version that isn't available in the U.S. has an interior and looks far cooler, but you will end up paying at least $100 for it (which is why I don't have one).
The ARH (Dauphin) fits figures well enough but it's a little short on leg room for modern-era figs. It's about as big as the Tomahawk, though with less cabin space because of the configuration. Would pics with Joes help you figure scale? |

One with three VAMPs lined up to show overall length: And one with a closeup to show figure size comparison (note there is an Air Viper pilot already seated in the cockpit in addition to the one outside the helicopter - they DO fit inside):

Like in this photo: http://g03.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1.L3fJ...hting-font.jpg On the other hand it would have been great with a real troop seating in the back.

Man, I'm glad you're digging them so much. It's good to see happy people. I like the True Heroes stuff too, but I've had to draw the line...I prefer to keep my collection small for a whole slew of reasons, but that doesn't mean there isn't a part of me that would like to buy all the TH/PTE/World Peacekeepers I see.

Sorry, I don't even know what the Steel Badger is. I couldn't find my kids' IFV this evening, but here are a couple of shots of the ARH to show size...

I think it actually works pretty well for that. It's a very nice set!

Referencing the previous posters who referenced not knowing what a Steel Badger is, it is an AMTRAC like vehicle (Amphibious APC used by USMC to act as a magnet for RPGs in real combat) carried in both the True Heroes lines and the Soldier Force lines overseas, pretty nice vehicle if you do not mind the lack of moving tracks

I like the command post building. I feels more full than the ruined building which is flat and only really works if pushed up against a wall. The command post has more depth to it. I like the rooftop upper level, as I feel you can put some gun sentries up there. Honestly, I don't utilize interiors to playsets too much other than to put some guys in the windows firing out. I had a diorama display set up years ago which had Cobra utilizing this building as their HQ while they took over a town. Throw some barricades and barb wire around it. Some gun emplacements (I used the Cobra versions of the Whirlwinds). I thought it looked pretty neat.
Also for any members that can shop any of the military exchanges they carry them including online got a nice F-22 for $29 and a Blackhawk for $50 last week Last edited by Soldier Medic; 04-12-2016 at 11:29 AM.. Reason: Forgot pics |

Another option I have found for TH compatible and thus Joe compatible buildings is the Excite U.S. Army and U.S.M.C. sets which are still produced by Chap Mei, the figures are actually a little worse as far as function than the TH figures and will often have weapons of different scale up to 1/6 in the same pack. But they do have nice service OCP\MARPAT uniforms and for the Marines Coyote Tan packs and equipment. Also the Vehicles and fortifications are pretty decent and can be found for a good value I was able to pick up to defense tower sets for less than $20 this week from Amazon along with several other sets for $5 or less from Dollar General stores. I have included pics of just some of the buildings\fortifications available, with what I picked up I was able to set up a nice and accurate ECP (Entry Control Point) up to my Joe Headquarters

Just popped over to the TRU website and, FYI, anyone looking for the hovercraft it's on sale for $29.99 (down from $49.99):
True Heroes Military Hovercraft - Toys R Us - Toys "R" Us I don't know if that's old news or not, but I know some people on here have been thinking of buying one of these, so hopefully this helps someone...
