They make great generic soldiers for Cobra to slaughter to me, but I buy PTE for the vehicles. Gee, same strategy that Joe had originally, the figures were accessories to the vehicles.

I consider the PTE figures to be like 3 3/4 inch plastic army men. They don't stand out but make good backround figures.
I have not seen the new bunker sets yet |

I think the hate-on these figures is because MC Powerteam is very talented and these don't live up to its talent. While they are well made, they are so generic. They haven't been updated in a long while. And I can see they have the talent to do something like Tieka Toys.

The Corps! figs are way better than the shit from PTE. The Corps! actually have pretty good articulation now. THere are a variety of headsculpts and characters. The PTE dudes are totally generic. Now as far as vehicles go, the cool Corps! stuff is few and far between.
I do. I have hundreds of the figures. I bought many of them from people on this forum. They are cheap, and uniform and they look fantastic as a large scale force. Sorry about the poor image quality. It's too late to take a better one right now. Also, you might notice that half of the PTE soldiers are wearing Corps heads. I buy Corps figures for thier heads, which I repaint and modify the necks then attach them to PTE soldiers. It gives a bit more variety in my armies. Again, sorry for the image quality. These pics were taken for my reference and were not intended to be shared. |

I found the new bunker and building sets at Big Lots yesterday. Here's a shot of the bunker, it's pretty nice.

I was at TRU over the weekend and saw the new True Hero's mega vehicle- the L.A.S.E.R. Storm Aircraft. (True Heroes L.A.S.E.R. Storm Aircraft - Toys R Us - Toys "R" Us) At first I thought, eh, this thing looks like crap. My second look changed my mind. Its huge, has plenty of action features, (swing out wings, feet that swing down to grab vehicles for capture or to deploy on a battle field, etc) it holds several figures, and is just ripe for customizing. This thing could go great in a joe- or marvel- verse.
Not as Joe friendly as the AB-115 "shark"/Specter gunship, but still, not bad at all. If I had the space to display this guy, I think I would have bought it on the spot. D

Exciter, in your case I stand corrected. However, in your second pic of the figs on the shelf that 2nd one on the lower right cheesing real big looks like something from the movie puppet master.
