I have the poor mans version, 2 Terminator A-10s they were 1.74 on Black Friday, hard to turn down, but still turds. BUT when not displayed next to figures they look decent on their own.

Agreed. I wish I picked it up at TRU. They couldn't get rid of them at normal prices. All clearanced. I wish PTE would fix some issues with the a10. The engines are set at an angle. It's very slight but throws the whole thing off. It's huge! Can it be engineered so that the wings fold or come off for storage.

Hmmm I never noticed those compartments. Perhaps they once considered adding electronics. It was probably to cost prohibitive & they decided against it.

Anyone who wants an A-10 can get one at Sky works toys (when they finally finish em) but the PTE is hard to beat even with the engine screw up. The terminator A10....keep one in the box, they will be rare as hell.

The sets from JC Penny are absolutely amazing. I can't believe I've missed out on these for so long. I wouldn't have any use for the figures. But the weapons, accessories, vehicles, dioramas etc., are pure gold. For $100 I'll have more stuff than I know what to do with. I'm glad I finally clicked on this thread.

Along with Big Lots and TRU, I've seen the figures sold in one, two and three packs at Dollar General stores, but it's a real hit and miss. The assortment is notorious for putting repeating figures into different combos and sets- similar to the CORPS figures (which Dollar Gen also carries).
