I think this is the best of the least. Some of the coolest figures of all time. I still have Max Ray but none of his epic accesories and his arm very recently snapped off......damnit.
If Matt Trakker can be a Joe he should bring in the new team of Centurions to join the ranks. Their tech would be sick. Anyway, I love this line and would LOVE to see it come back, I think the cartoons are being released again...anyone know? So let's have it...Centurion love! |

I'd love to see the cartoon again I have Jake Rockwell floating around somewhere and a few random accessories
I didn't care for how the villains looked, though. I think they could have done a better job on them.

Yeah the villians were forgettable. I used Max Ray to fight T-Ray from the Tigersharks all the time. There was one of those big slop sinks in my grandmothers basement with a little ledge that I'd have them dive off into the sink.
Man I loved that. |

Yeah,Doc Terror and Hacker were the bad guys.Sense Kenner made the Centurions(which is now owned by Hasbro). It would be neat to see 3 3/4 inch version for them.I am reminded by the Armored motorcycle. When you convert it to battle suit mode it reminds me of one of the weapon systems from they series.

Maybe test the waters with just one 3 3/4 figure as a Joe member and then release anniversary editions in their true scale. |

I have Ace and all of his gear, Jake with helmet only and a broken Max (his arm came off recently too PitViper!) as well as Tidal Blast. I was buying up all I could on ebay over the summer, but when my PayPal account emptied, my buying stopped. I need to sell some stuff to re-fill it. Check out my wants list in my sig. I am willing to trade Joes from my For Sale list for some Centurions!

I think the Centurians were the tallest action figures of humans I ever had. I really dug them at the time. I had Max Ray, just the basic outfit, but he was pretty cool!

It's always sad when you don't fully appreciate a particular toy line until it's gone. That was me with Centurions. I had Max Ray and all of his sets except the "Depth Charger," Doc Terror, Hacker, and the Airborne Drone (Strafer?). I thought they were "OK" cool but since they didn't go with the vast multitude of (smaller) action figures I had they got less play, even after the cartoon.
From my understanding, there were some hints towards the Centurions in that "Unit-E" comic that Hasbro gave out at NYCC. |
