Just the fact that they are making it and in a reduced scale is fine by me. I hesitated on the WALL E truck
Disney Pixar's Wall-E Talking Electronic Truck Playset - Thinkway - Toys "R" Us and now Im regretting it, the thing was about 3 foot long from what I heard, easily converting to a transport carrier/APC for Joe or Cobra. The Osprey is pretty kick ass, Kei, once my job is finally secured YOU WILL be hearing from me, do you have the SU-27 FLANKER jet? write me when you want now you have the links ;) i will post on my site new toys in the next days. i have several type of jet i can buy. also the one you want i think. i have to check on my shops. i will let you know! |

Man if only it was a little bigger, so you could drive the snow-cat inside. I'd pay $132 for that!
But I really want some of those containers by Bruder. Anyone find a place to get them on the cheap?

Why not just build a Joe-scale An-124? Hey, that's an idea...

It's really 1/16th more likely. But for shipping containers I'm not so anal about scale. Bigger actually might be better in that case. I am JONESING for some.
Best I can find is the DHL truck w/ 2 containers for like $80-$100. Weak. Or the DHL with 1 container for $50-$60. Sheesh.

Bell and Boeing probably want too much for the License, not to mention all the scandal that Aircraft has gone through...why license something that has brought mostly shame and disaster to the Armed Forces, and yet to clear it's X-class Designation, not to mention you can't even fire through the rear without lowering the ramp exposing soldiers to fire, and a forward mounted 30.cal, instead of the initial 50.cal they wanted, but scrapped due to weight issues. This turned out to be nothing more than a succesful failure...Shame too cause it's so pretty...That's probably why it's a foreign toy developer. Not something you wanna associate with "A Real American Hero"
