What are some of the harder to get TH's? I have been searching for years now to find some and in the last 2 months I found two. The el camino and the hot rod looking car, Think it is number 1 in the series for 2011. Thanks.

Treasure Hunts tend to have metallic paint and rubber tires from what I gather.

My son is 14 months old and loves Hot Wheels. I've only found a couple Treasure Hunt cars (oddly enough at Big Lots). I open them though. My son loves cars so they do no good in the package.

I was at a store one day looking for the HW A-team van. The toy dept employee brought out a case to fill the bin. It was like blood in the water and a couple of HW "sharks" came out of nowhere.
They kept asking the worker, "where are the Treasure Hunts? Where are the TH cars man? I was like WTF is this. Then a TH fell out of the box and they both went for it like it was a piece of steak. My local flea market has a booth that this guy buys and sells Star Wars and Hot Wheels. I've heard him tell people that he will pay them $5-$10 for regular TH and $20 for Super TH (I guess the difference is Super TH have rubber tires, and regular TH don't) |

Then when you look at his HW cars for sale he has regular TH for like $35 and Super TH for $45-$50. The crazy thing is HW collectors pay that kind of money for a $1.07 car.
