Does anyone collect these? I just noticed news of these(on another site that I can't mention....). And they look awesome!
Here is a BBTS listing for one: British Army - Blues & Royals Regiment in Afghanistan - Lieutenant - Hot Toys Military 12" Figures & Accessories at BigBadToyStore A bit pricey, but damn, the detail is really superb. Edit: 1000th post!

Yeah - I wanted to get into 1:6 scale stuff a couple of years ago, but I just can't. They're great toys, with thousands of accessories, but they're more expensive and take up a lot more room. Plus vehicles are limited and very pricey.

I prefer Dragon items. I currently have 17 German figures at this moment.
I did have over 200 at one time (21st, Dragon, BBi) plus vehicles but had to sell to buy my first house. |

I'll take some tomorrow for ya.
Oh, I also did a 100+ "shot" story using 12" figures. It was shown on an old 12" site Ground pounder. It was voted 1 of the top rated photo shoots. Here's a couple from it. Basically it was a bunch of modern Seals and Marines getting sucked into a time warp and getting thrown back into WWII during a German field meeting. They took out the Germans that were planning a siege. The time warp came just after they wiped them all out. Right after they modern troopers left, a small recon of WWII US troops rolled up finding all these dead, elite Germans. Looking over everything, they find a lone MP4 in the rubble. i like when they make the clothes to scale and they fit the figure realistically. I hate the baggy ass doll clothes on the 25th 12" figures

I have a German Fallshirmjaeger with REAL to scale silk parachute. THAT is awesome. It even has the correct risers. I do wonder if I dropped it from a high place, it would float down. Of course, it cost me $149, I doubt I will try it |
