I've seen the singles at Target and TRU, they don't seem to be selling hardly at all. The 3 packs however, I've only seen them once. I grabbed Gordon and the Swat members. Gordon is good, the rest kinda suck. I want to get some of the main characters (Mostly just Batman characters) I need to get a Hush so I can use the trenchcoat for a custom. (I could use a whole Gordon for another custom)

So in the last 3 days I've seen one Target in my area with Wave 2 & 3 of these figures. Last Thursday I saw 3 new figures (Black Hand Wave 1, Batgirl & The Question wave 2) then today I stopped back by there and they had more of the wave 2 figures plus most of the wave 3..........Not one single Batman!!! That's the only figure I want from this freaking toyline and apparently the people making these toys think that the care characters won't sell or something so they flood the market with lesser known characters. I mean let's think about this for a second. You have a toy line based on all DC characters, you also have a DC movie being released around the same time (The Dark Knight) so I can see why they held off with Batman till the 2nd wave (Although, typically toy exects would have made half of wave 1 all Batman characters because of the movie) But to hold off on almost all well known figures (They released the Flash in one of the 3 packs) is stupid because now you have people like me (A casual DC fan who hardly knows anyone other than the biggest characters, Batman, Supes, Flash, etc...) who look at all the figures and go "What the hell is this?" and now you have clogged shelves with product that will not sell. This line should have had the GI Joe mentatilty applied (IE: Core characters in almost every wave) |

I need to pick up the Batwoman figure. I wish they would have made the Barbara Gordon Batgirl though.

I just came from TRU and they have Exclusive 6-Pack with John Stewart, Guy Garner and a translucent Lantern Corp guy and 3 bad guys, but it was $34.99. Also had single card repacked into 2-packs-Flash vs Dr Zoom and Guy Garber vs Black Hand for $10.99.

I am not buying anymore figures from this line until I see what Mattel has up their sleeves for added articulation next year. After buying the Flash 3 pack, the figures are decent to me but lack the bare minimum of articulation I accept for myself with regards to figures in this scale. Hasbro's Marvel Universe line will kill this one unless Mattel adds in more articulation quick.

I like this line. I think the limited articulation makes them more sturdy and not as flimsy as most of the joes. The paint ops could be better on a few of the figures though...but hey, for $3.99 they are nice figures with a good assortment!!

I personally like the line as you have a larger range of characters that you haven't had thus far. Getting the Jason Todd and masked Tommy Elliott Hush figures...never would happen with the larger DC Universe Classic line. You would have to spend $14 per version for the DC Direct, which are usually preposed and more like statues.
I hope the line lasts. |

Can't find the new stuff anywhere here. Got what I assume is wave 1: Guy Gardner, Zoom, Adam Strange, Atom, Black Hand and Shazaam. As well as the Flash and Gordon 3 packs. Haven't seen or heard anything about further waves.
