I have 3 bots here I need more info on. The first one I believe was a Transformers mail away called Autoceptor. It's a watch/car that Transforms and has a date stamp of Takara 1984. I'd like confirmation and possibly instructions on how to transform it
Here's a pic of it: The second one looks like a Whirl knock off but it has Bandai 1985 markings. It's fully transformable and is motorized, the blades spin and there a winch on the side that retracks the hook Here's Bot mode: One last oddity, transforms into a Pen has no date stamp but it does say Gakken on one foot |

The watch car, I do not know where it is from, but I can tell you I had a ton of those when I was a kid.
The flea market here sold them, along with the bootleg Voltron, and the diaclone tf cassette knock offs. There was also a watch that transformed as well. Those were the days, nowadays you can't find crap at flea markets. I really don't remember how to transform that car, but like I said, I had a ton of those when I was younger. Not sure on the rest. |

The first one is correct. It is Autoceptor from the Takara line.
Autoceptor - Teletraan I: The Transformers Wiki The second may be part of the Machine Robo line from japan. or any line in or around the Gobots from over there. Hard to say, but would be a good place to try and look it up. As for the third thing.. I have seen that once before a long time ago, but do not recall what it was nor was able to dig anything up on it.

RodimusDawg on the 2005 boards pointed me to this link for the Red Helecopter:
Flybot from the Powerbots line Also have a Robotech item I could use some help with: Remote controlled car that appears to be able to move front to back and left to right (I don't know as it doesn't work anymore) Manual transformation. The most I could find online was this: Robotech Power Changer Wondering if these are the only two types they made, also if "Power Changer" is the name of the series or just the Jeep |

I figured the helecopter was part of the Gobot line somehow or another since it was a Bandai product.. just wasn't sure which line from over there.
As for the Robotech Changer.. I even went to the Robotech sites to try and dig something up. Seems you and one other person have the same issue. At least with you, you know that there is at least one more type of Changer out there. The other guy isn't sure if his Jeep was the only one made. So now we have a Jeep and a Car and no information on the things. When you look up Sentai all that wants to pop up is Power Rangers stuff.

Ya know, for a $10 BIN lot on ebay, I'm really thinking I got a great deal here Stuff no one knows (Or cares to know) about, crazy off shoots and all sortsa fun stuff. This is only most of the stuff I couldn't figure out, there was also a Gobots Spay-C, Rocklords Nugget, Robotech small Alpha Fighter, knock off Convertors Slots, Super Go-Bot Bug Bite ( I already have 2 ) Four Star Lock Bot, Wendys Go-Bot Beamer, McDonalds Frybot and some wierd motorcycle with a lions head and a very small knock off He-Man attached to it (Unfortunately, the lions head/front of cycle is that brittle gold plastic so it shattered. I have to glue it before I take pics of that to ID )
