Yesterday at wal-mart,among all the new toys I noticed some new Dragon Ball Z toys. There like 4 in, which is totally awesome!
Anyway I was wondering if anyone picked any of these up and if I could get any feedback. |

I will be on the lookout for these. So they are almost in scale with the joes? Thats awesome.

I was gonna start a thread about this. I saw a two pack that had Goku and Piccalo that could make lights and sounds with the help of a gun-like attachment that plugs INTO THEIR ASSES!!!
Seriously, never in my life did I see a non-bootleg toy that opened itself up to that much toilet humor. I wish I could post pics. YOU TOO CAN PLAY SUPER-SEIYAN PROCTOLOGIST!!! |

I didn't even take the time to look up the price, they don't have the price tags up yet. What's really cool is there are like 10 figures in the series (wave?) and if you buy them all you build a bonus figure. Quote:

the "build-a-figure" is shen-long (dragon).
i'm thinking getting them, but i dunno, since articulation looks like mcfarlane figures to me. i was hoping it would be like mcfarlane halo figs articulation.

I've seen them and they look nice. It never even occurred to me they were in scale with Joes. Most DBZ collectors (I lurk at a board) don't like them because they are not in scale with the Irwin/Jakks Pacific, etc. action figures, though they are, of course, collecting them anyway.
I looked at a Frieza but it doesn't go with the rest of my stuff so I left it. |

I saw them today and they even had the Piccolo figure I wanted! But I had to pass on it :( The articulation did it to me. The shoulders are ball joints, but that appears to be it for the arms. The legs look to have knee joints and V joints at the hips, they also have an extra joint under the V joint (Probably to allow them to have a normal sitting position rather than a "spread eagle" position) I'm sure the head moves and they may have a waist joint (However the old late 90's DBZ toys looked like they had that too but they didn't.....my Gohan was forever cut in half)
