Do you think these 1st Day Issue figures are going to be worth anything? I went into my Wal-Mart this morning and there was a slimy old dude that looked like Jabba the Hut throwing Star Wars figures in his cart (he later got the only Millennium Falcon at Target as well). I had to go back to Wal-Mart later today and they had completely restocked with several of the 1st Day Issue figures. Didn't know if I needed to jump on these or not. I purchased a Yoda just cuz I though he looked cool!
If your local Target, Walmart doesn't have the figures with the "1st day of issue" stickers on the shelf or in the stockroom then they probably will not be getting them. I don't really see the common figures ever being in high demand for this line. I am far from an expert, but I would only think the figures worth anything (in terms of collecting or selling) would be the foil stickered "1st day of issue" or the 4 Galactic Hunt figures.

Is that a practice normally done on the SW line, the "1st day of issue"?

Oh man, it was chaos! I was the fourth person in line, the 3 guys in front of me blocked off the star wars with their carts and were shoveling everything in and cleared the shelves. The manager came and told them they needed to back up, and then a fight broke out behind me between them and some other guy. One of the 3 guys had 8 Falcons, the other kept buying $30 in figures, getting the hologram greivous, then they would go to the costumer service desk to return them. Must of done it 5 times. An employee handed me a case of figures that had the 8 i wanted or i would have never got them. There was about 100+ people and it was just a mad scramble. I feel bad for the little kids, and parents because these 3 guys cleared the place out.
I was really surprised they didnt put out any joes or anything. They werent really letting people go out of the Star Wars set up. Im half way tempted to go out tomorrow morning to see if i can find any wave 9 stuff, but i think im just gonna chill till wave 10. |

The idiots that were guying the $30.00 and returning stuff have to return the Greivous when they return the other stuff or the refund wont go through . Star Wars is pretty dead I just see all this stuff getting returned after it makes its run to the flea market and its round on E-Bay.
