I'm just speculating here as I do not actually know but my two theories would be:
The loose picture is of a mock up/prototype before the belt was changed for retail or The loose picture is of the batman that comes with K-Mart exclusve Batmite and no one realise the Batman figure is actualy different (I'm leaning towards #1 though) |

Yeah, pretty sure they're the same figure, with no variant intended.
Was hoping this post was going to reveal a variant with a different headsculpt. "Needs More Fiber" Batman is just embarrassing. |

I wasn't too crazy about the angry/crazy/fiber face. But when i seen em in Walmart it didn't look as bad as i thought. I'm also glad he's the same size as my DC black suit Batman. Amazon has em listed and the picture is the second style belt.

I would have bought him but that face is the deal breaker. Now if he woulda been in 80's colors and the yellow oval around that Bat... we would came home no matter what!

I don't mind the Angry face, I think its kinda neat. Just wish the ears were a little longer on that Batman.

Isn't it the same body as the DC Superheros Batman?
