Never cared from them growing up...I did enjoy the movie tho and my little cousin is in love with the cartoons New/Old.
So there is some love on this side for them! |

Huge fan myself... I am almost done with what I want in the old Transformer line... I have every guy up till like "87" mint!!! The new stuff sucks in my opinion but who am I... I like the classics but that animated stuff..... urrr I'd like to know what they were thinking on the TF team at Hasbro... Oh well it saves me money to collect older stuff and Japanese items!!!

I used to be a completist until the movie line (barf). I just limit myself to G1-esque now. In fact, I'll probably toss my Armada, Energon, and Cybertron lines up for sale soon.
Outside of Encore, Masterpiece, and Classics, I'm really not a fan of the new lines. I'm still waiting on Alts to come out of "hiatus."

I'm a TFing fool, I like 'em so much I smack 'em up a little now & then.
Can't remember a weekend over the last year I wasn't customizing TFs (or 25th Joes ) Check the link under my sig for 30 some odd pages of my custom TFs !!!

I used to be a huge TF fan and I loved the live-action movie, but I just can't seem to get ino the toys that much anymore.
The modern stuff seems a bit cheap & nasty to me, while the G1's are, in my opinion, pretty crap to start with and not worth re-collecting. I do buy the odd Encore to keep in the box, but I don't get as excited about them as I used to. GI JOE all the way for me...

This may be blasphemy here, but I'm probably a slightly bigger tf fan than a Joe fan... they are 1 and 1A in my book, depending on which has the cooler toys out at any given time.

As a kid it was GIJoe all the way, then when TFs rolled into the picture I switched...guess I liked getting a vehicle and figure all in one. I've amassed a huge TF collection, but as I've grown older I'm starting to view my hobby a little differently. My wife and I are trying to start a family so I have a feeling that a large chunk of my toy collection will be sold to help finance filling up a nursery and such.
As much as I love GIJoe, I'm trying really hard to stick with what I really like instead of buying everything that comes out. Same w/ TFs. I'll keep the stuff that reminds me of my childhood and the G1 related stuff. Everything else is starting to become expendable.
