Transformers Vs. G.I.Joe Toys

I have been looking at the transformers classics and animated...

and I am slowly being drawn in......

I look at how detailed the new toys are and how much is available...

even the older figures...

Like classics... and others...

why is it that these things only cost 10$ at the store and they are fairly easy to find (I guess?)

found grimlock and s/s yesterday.....(animated)

I mean look at the "classics' voyager jet fire.. and tell me that is so not worth the 30$ (even though it came out in 2K6)

as opposed to now 3 joes...... for the same price.....

I think i am gonna go back through the older toys and start a collection of those

while joes are cool at 8$+ a pop with the inevitable price hike at BBTS

I unless super cool will only buy random figures or collect MOC Only..

Can anyone give me a checklist of let me know how many figures have come out for classics?

when did they first come out??

I also... wonder how often do they do 'repaints?"

Im only interested in individual robots.. and not

4 versions of starscream ie Thundecracker,Skywarp and Star scream...

its all dif figures but the same exact one!

besides i have master peice Figs

The new ones that just came out and future releases aren't on that site. I'm assuming since it's under the Universe banner now.

The new ones are:

Deluxe:
Sunstreaker
Prowl
Tankor(Octane)

Voyager:
Blaster (Cybertron Soundwave repaint)
Heavy Load (Cybertron Quickmix repaint)

Ultra:
Powerglide
Onslaught

Those are the current ones out and coming out soon. But to my knowledge, only the deluxes have been spotted at retail so far. Well, those and the Robot Heroes and Legends figures.

You've got fine taste in toys. That's hot. Note this is not a pick up line.
