I bought one lastnight ONLY to go towards a Quick Kick custom. After looking at the feet though, one seems COMPLETELY different than the other. The right foot seems fine but the left foot looks frail and "malnourished" to me. If I had a decent camera I would post pics of the difference. My question though is this - has anyone else bought this figure and noticed the same thing as me?
Maybe I can give Quick Kick a made up excuse for the deformity? "Quick Kick was in an accident as a child that left his left foot partially crippled. To overcome this obsticle, he trained extensively under the wing of Chuck Norris and even created his own unique fighting style, called the Gimpy Mongoose. Bolo has been known to cry himself to sleep at night in fear of Quick Kick. From the files of General Hawk: Quick Kick destroyed the periodic table, because he only recognizes the element of surprise. Damn, what a ninja!" |

I never noticed it before but yeah, the left foot is smaller. I think it may be more a case of the right foot being swollen though. You can barely see the ankles on that foot

I'm really starting to second guess using this guy for a Quick Kick custom. I have a set of feet that came from the Marvel Legends Showdown Namor set. I'd have to modify them a little (and probably loose all articulation in the ankle) to fit, but at least he wouldn't look all gimped up.

Even if you loose all ankle articulation, it'll still have the same amount of articulation as the Hasbro released one

I'll take my custom legs - Legions Storm Shadow upper legs, Shipwreck knee joints (thinned down a bit to fit) and lower legs and Namor feet. I've just decided to scrap the whole Ugha Warrior feet idea. Of COURSE I wouldn't be able to make a simple pop-n-swap custom! Matter of fact, I might just scrap the whole custom idea all together and wait til they release Quick Kick, then change out his legs with the ones I've made. |
