Though I do not possess items such as PUD333 (very nice btw) I did collect the Harmony Gold (Australian market) 3.75" figures and some vehicles as a teen.
I do have a couple of carded Robotech figures and another couple loose for nostalgia value. Would definitely collect a revived Robotech 3.75" action figure line if it was made as the originals have the same sculpting differences as a vintage SW (70's and 80's vintage) with odd heads and faces. Edit: All hail Lord Kyron!!! |

Thanks. I've only been collecting Macross seriously for about 10 months now (I had to cut out a couple other toy lines to afford it). There are other dudes on Macrossworld whose collections dwarf mine. It's actually kind of stomach turning when you think about just how much money is spent on these toys... but they're worth it. |

That would be brilliant. I would throw down fat sums of money for 25's made right. FAT SUMS!

I'm disappointed we never get action figures of the characters. There has been some standalone dolls and statues. But not a series of figures. Even the granddady of anime, Yamato has yet to see a line of characters. What gives?

Yes! Maybe not Yamato but some other company. Personally, I'd like to see some Figmas of various macross figures. That would be killer. I'd buy them all. Although Max Factory seems obsessed with pigtailed anime girls...

About the only thing coming out of Japan as far as 3 3/4" action figures is the Microman line. They did some of Evangelion, and I wish they would one day get the Macross license (and Gunbuster )

Spartan was canceled last time I checked, and the Destroids come up on sale almost constantly at HLJ everytime they have a Macross sale, same for other etailers. I don't think we'll see any new ones for a while. Maybe, and this is a BIG maybe, maybe the Monster but even then I doubt it but I guess if the 1/3000 SDF-1 sells well, Yamato might have faith in the Monster doing well on the market. Original proto was the size of a small table or something.
