Transformers Animated

Well I originally did not like the designs but was curious to see how these were.I do feel a little weirder picking these up since they are geared towards kids as opposed to the adult collector but I will be waiting for the upcoming Transformers Classics 2.0/Universe

I saw a couple of voyagers at my Wal-Mart some time ago, all of which I passed on because I'm sure kids would enjoy them more than I ever could.

...but then I checked up on them after a brief walk around the store and saw a guy on a cell phone with his arms full of them.

I think the only one I'll buy is Grimlock, though, mostly for the dino mode.

Meh, between Star Wars in July, the 25th Joes, and TF classics/universe & Encore, I have much more I'd rather spend the cash on.

I still can't dig the toon designs.

The actual cartoon on the other hand freakin rocks. Love all the G1 homages.

I couldn't get into the cartoon but I am liking the look of the figures. I'm banking on my friend buying them so I can see them out of the box.

I think the cartoon is terrible (it may as well have been made in Japan, the mess they've made of it), but have liked the toy designs since I first saw them.

Whether or not I can support yet another TF toy reboot is another matter. The same characters in new bodies every two years is getting a bit much.

.............Where in california was that........? That may have been me lol.....

I picked up 2 bumblebees, 2 black arachnias a voyager megs and a voyager starscream. The black arachnia is cool but her legs were assembled backwards and I had to take them apart. I havent opened the others yet. Dont know if I will keep them. I usually just buy an optimus and a megatron but they didnt have voyager or leader class optimus.

I opened them and wow I have to say Hasbro really improved with the detail and articulation compared to the movie line.I hope this holds true with the upcoming classics 2.0 line also.Maybe I can get a Canadian Hisstanker to ship me one down
