Now Paul, you may have been such a ďdiscerning childĒ (insert sarcastic roll-eyes icon here) that you werenít into Transformers as a kid. However, judging from all the information on the line you just posted, you are obviously a huge fan now. But even though you are a big fan, you shouldnít take it personally and insult someone if they have an opinion that differs from yours.
Since you seem to think itís funny to personally attack members at random, you might want to familiarize yourself with the forum rules. Hereís a link for you: Official Forum & Sig Pic Rules *** READ ME***

Wow... um... OK. Where to start...
I'm just going to ask you to put the jump to conclusions mat away. I think this is a case of "The internet makes everyone look angry and therefore makes everyone feel angry." So we need to take a step back.
Here, let me explain:
The basement quote is a blanket statement meant for all of us nerds that reside on any forum such as this, including myself. I meant it as half endearing statement, which is lost in translation on the internet. I thought that came off in the aptly placed "smiley" next to that particular statement. I guess the smiley doesn't have the diffusing power that he had years ago. We are all so passionate about children's toys, as you have shown above. This includes me.
No where did i come off and say Murphbri is a poopy face. I used your quote to make with the funny at the entire nerd subculture. Living in a basement is a traditional nerd stereotype found in numerous comedic situations and I played on that, again as an endearment to all of our situations (it's called subtext). I'm on the same forum as you my friend, don't forget that. If I call you a nerd, how does that make any sense on my part? I can't single you out, I'm right here with you.
As for being a "discerning child", you, again, need to put that jump to conclusions mat away. I meant that as an insult to myself, meaning that the sentence that came before was to discerning a thought for my simple mind as a child. Kind of a back track if you will, and I followed that same sentence up with "it probably just came on at an inconvenient time", explaining my ACTUAL reasons for not having liked transformers: inconvenience.
Now i'm not sure if you found what i said to be threatening, obviously you had, and in that misinterpreted what i said. Ths is probably my fault because, as i pointed out, the internet angers everyone. People weren't meant to communicate from darkened rooms illuminated only by mechanical abominations. Maybe I should be more direct next time.
As you pointed out, i'm obviously enjoying transformers now. I'm finding it quite fun and honestly, i don't care if you photograph yourself deficating on the animated toys. Just as much as you would care if I took photographs of myself in sexual situations with classic transfomers toys. We are obviously both here because of transformers (joes foremost), but we arrived by two different means: you probably watched the older show (which, as i pointed i out, i usually missed), and myself through the new animated show (which you deficate upon). It's ok... we should celebrate the fact that we both love transformers now, and embrace hands, skip down the trail of memories, and talk about why love transformers while we eat a picnic lunch under the old oak tree where we met.
Anyway, misunderstandings aside, congratulations on your new home purchase in fabulous and sunny California.

Back on track...
Has this been released on DVD yet? I've caught only a few shows, mostly because my daughters think TFs are for stinky boys. It appears to be an interesting storyline that I'd like to see from the beginning.
Forget it Jake, it's Hisstank.

^ The first part of the series was just released this week titled "Transform and Roll out".
I just picked it up from Wally World for 11.99.
It contains the 68 minute broadcast premier that aired on the Cartoon Network.
This DVD will not be included in the Box set to be released in August (or so I have been told)

I like Starscream new design but I really hate it how they use his transformation in the series. It resembles the Mechas from Robotech.

As for the toys...
Wow. I have quite the collection of these guys now! I'd have to say that Grimlock and Starscream are probably my two favorites at the moment, with Ratchet close behind. I, from all accounts, don't want a Blackarachnia (she doesn't impress me at all) and am afraid if I get Voyager Bulkhead his size will disappoint me like Lugnut's size did. (I didn't even fathom he was THAT small) I reallyreallyreallyreally want Voyager Optimus Prime, I am going to spend some time tomorrow searching for him. I am incredibly disappointed the most with Voyager Megatron, even though pretty much every transformation is simple in this line, its like they didn't even try with him. His alt and robot modes both are meh... hey, maybe -I- should do video reviews? :O
I'll sing my song to the wide open spaces
I'll sing my heart out to the infinite sea
I'll sing my visions to the sky high mountains
I'll sing my song to the free, to the free
