Lucky. And because you've posted what you paid, I do not want to. Mine was way more than that.

I'm selling my Talking He-Man & Skeletor right now over on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320267990654 They are both open, but in great shape and have all their weapons. He-Man says, "I have the power!" Skeletor says, "Eternia will be mine!"

Those are great figures, lots of fun.
But to backtrack a handful of posts back...."What was hot 17 years ago???" Well, I turn 34 in a few months so I woulda been 17 at the time. I don't think I was into toys so much at the time, but the bottom was about to drop out of the comic book industry to the tune of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" LOL But yeah, I do remember Invisible Girl and Iceman being the hot Toybiz figures, going for insane prices that I saw when I went into the comics shop. I REALLY wanted a Deadpool, and I think we were starting to see McFarlane toys previewed. They were creating a buzz. My toy buying started up again spring 1993, my freshman year at Indiana U, I bought: a Batman Animated Series figure, an Alien Queen, and a TF Gen. 2 Starscream. Then I stopped for a good two years, and Star Wars blew me away and haven't quit the plastic crack. 1995 - 2001 my obsession was Star Wars and Beast Wars TF, a few of the Spawn lines. 2002 - 2007 Masters of the Universe figures and stactions, TF Classics and Alternators. A few GI Joes. 2007 - now it's all about the GI Joes Last edited by Wylde Weezle; 06-30-2008 at 08:45 AM.. |

LOL, i just got a "second chance offer" on one of those series 4 stactions (10 hours after it ends) I knew they were inflating the price to see if they would hook someone. I KNEW IT! I am getting real good at sniffing out these tactics on ebay.
I passed... check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=020 Last edited by STORM SHADOW; 06-30-2008 at 11:33 PM.. |
