Wes at Scary-Crayon has posted a new list courtesy of yours truly:
Scary-Crayon and Geek Creek present... Ten Properties That Deserve an Action Figure Resurrection!!! And like I said at JoeDios, while I'm engaging in crass self-promotion, here are my other recent lists: Ten Sigma 6 Figures That Should Be Resurrected in the Pursuit of Cobra Scale: http://generalsjoes.com/2011/03/24/...cale-and-style/ Movies That Deserve a Pursuit of Cobra Tribute: http://www.infinitehollywood.com/20...pursuit-of.html Ten Toylines That Should Be Produced in the 3.75" Scale: http://chasevariant.blogspot.com/20...guest-list.html And the one I already linked to here, Ten Joe Icons That Deserve a Pursuit of Cobra Makeover: http://www.poeghostal.com/2011/03/t...a-makeover.html Thanks! Thanks for that! Very cool post and link.
Ok, COPS? Totally, that would be awesome to have them back again. I can go with Bionic Six being a fan of the original show and toys, plus I think the siblings comming from different backgrounds with different "specialties" works well with kids today. This may be the "best" idea on there. I'm just not sure it was big enough to bring back all the old school fans and get the cash cow mooing. Gummi Bears? Let's see how Smurfs does before we go messing around in enchanted forrests with cuddley creatures. Visionaries. I think a very limitied run of large scale figures or statues would work. TF is so epic right now that Go-Bots would get crushed worse than they did the 1st time. Silverhawks I'd be all over but being that big brother TC is all the rage it would either do very good or very bad. The rest I either don't know enough about or just don't care. What I don't get is why M.A.S.K. didn't make that list?? So here is a little list of stuff I'd like to see make a comeback. M.A.S.K. COPS M.U.S.C.L.E.s Inhumanoids Manglors Centurions and hell yes on Bionic Six! |

I don't know anything about:
C.O.P.S Visionaries Preacher Realm of the Claw (although it looks amazing, and I'd probably buy it) Astro City As far as the ones I do know: Go-Bots: Hell no. They were Transformers bitch then, and they'd most certainly be TF's beyotch now. Bravestarr: Yup, yup, yup. Been waitin' for "Strength of the Bear, Speed of the Puma" F O R E V E R". Silverhawks: Hells yeah. Gummi Bears: Why not. Maybe even Shirt Tales too. Bionix Six: I guess so? I only have a vague recollection of that show. |

One of my all time favorite cartoons "Dinosaucers" had a toy line planned, but it never saw the light of day. I believe some of the toys, maybe just prototypes were floating around, but point is...the toy line never happened. So I would love to see that come back in some way. Dinosaurs will always appeal to kids, so I could see a new cartoon working out with a toy line, and I could only hope a "Classics" series would be made.
Definitely C.O.P.S!!! Would love to see a new 6/7" scale toy line made! Inhumanoids would be cool, Centurions, Silverhawks, M.A.S.K, Bionic Six(w/ Diecast parts). I also really like the old Robocop toys. It'd be pretty damn awesome to see a 3 3/4 line made. I love the Mcfarlane Robocop and the possible NECA Robocop stuff coming out, but a Joe scale line would just be amazing!
