my iwfe looks for me when she goes to Walmart by her work, which is not near our house...the cool thing though is last friday she calls me on her lunch asking what i'm looking for...not only that but her friend says she goes to walmart quite often and she'll check too, and the very best part, she said one of her co-worker/friends mother is a manager at that walmart and she'll ask her if she can get some inside info...wow!...she is really looking out for me...she must love me right?
i did that too, for Valentines day...i made a custom me holding this ring she had been eyeballing...she has "me" displayed at her work Last edited by G.I.Eddie; 05-28-2008 at 11:29 AM.. |

My wife would call in the same manner.
'They have the Blue Hooded guy and some ninja dude and a guy with a doggah.' Bless her though,m as she has scored and pushed through hordes of stinky scalpers to get me what I now have! Not bad for a 5'5" spitfire Italiano! |

There is absolutely no chance my lady will ever aid me in my searches. And that's fine. She let me set up a few figures on our office bookshelf, and calls me a nerd, but she respects my hobby enough to let me enjoy it and not call me out on it. When we get a larger home with a rec room, she has encouraged me to set up some of my huge ARAH collection. No Terrordrome, though.
And as much as she spends on the yard and flowers (and as long as I help plant them), she lets me snag a couple here and there. |

My wife drew up the floor plans for, and helped me build out and convert my garage into a fully finished 20' x 20', independently heated and cool, toy and media room. (Sorry the pics are lousy.) Its been rearranged and finished since then - those pics are about a year or so old.

Nice projection ya got there.
Did you take off the garage door and install a wall/window or did you just build around the door? I have a half finished garage I am trying to convert, wondering if its easier to just rip the door out and have a wall put up?

about the coolest thing she has done for me was the time she emailed me at work a link to the legions 5 pack on sale at.. amazon.com i think.
other than that, she hates the fact that i buy all these "useless pieces of plastic" as quoted by dana carvey. (super bonus points if you remember where that's from!) but she tolerates it. that's all i ask. could be worse, right?
