So I was dropping off a huge shipment of "product" at Robert Remus' house when I took a moment to congratulate him on his return to GI Joe. He asked me what I meant. "The SDCC exclusive figure" I replied. He had no idea what I was talking about and informed me that he was under contract with Mattel and not Hasbro, so whatever I "think I saw" wasn't his.
This had me puzzled, because it's been front paged all over hisstank.com for the last couple weeks. So to solve this mystery I hired another client of mine, Detective Mark Furhman to help get to the botton of this. Furhman was unable to find any real evidence at first, and just when we were about to start planting some we uncovered a document revealing that Shin and others had conspired to pull off a prank so massive it would set the Joe collecting world on it's side. In dark basements across America they plotted to fool the world into thinking we were actually getting a Sgt. Slaughter GI Joe at this year's SDCC event. And they almost got away with it! But you see, Shin was feeling guilty about his part in this scheme. He had written a suicide note which he had arranged to have mailed to the main stream media, but obviously had a change of heart and attempted to shread the letter. Lucky for me, Mr. Furhman was able to repair the note, replacing some unsalvageable parts with pages from Shawshank Redemption, but all the important stuff was intact. We had the proof we were looking for. In closing I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, but the SDCC Sgt. Slaughter is a hoax, and it's masterminds are among the who's who of Hisstank's hierarchy and both Washington and Hollywood's elite. It's a dark, dark day to be a toy collector. Thank you. |

I knew it was too good to be true. I'm gonna need to see said documents just to further my belief of this story.

OF COURSE!
Why would the evil Vince McMahon let Hasbro use Sgt.Slaughter without working it into some angle where he fights Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner in a hair vs hair match???

TMZ just posted an update on this story, and its confirmed through Miley Cyrus’s twitter page. Apparently she was in on this evil ploy and there is actually gonna be a Hannah Montana and Billy Ray Cyrus GI Joe Box Set.

...so you hired a detective because of a toy...let's put aside whether or not you're yanking our chains or not, that's just to asinine for me.
Also, wouldn't Hasbro have to be in on it too? There was slides in their toy fair presentation. The presentation was for all of the Hasbro brands so nearly ever non-Joe site has reported on it too, so it couldn't be a fake slides. I can easily believe the toy we've seen is really a custom, but that Hasbro could so cruel to a fanbase that helps keep the line alive. I ain't saying I don't believe you, just that I'd like better proof. ...still asinine...

yep, that's it. See the plan was we would have everybody at the hasbro booth trying to pick up the Sgt. Slaughter figure so we (the hisstank staff) could get ALL the Hannah Montana figures for ourselves. And there is a limited edition Billy Ray figure with extended mullett
