That's dumb because anime is just as cool as G.I. Joe. That's like an old person saying rock and roll is too loud or something. As for Naruto vs. Bleach I say it ends in a tie. I read and follow both they are both interesting and drawn and written well. Both have awesome characters and unique angles to thier storyline. If I had to choose one I choose Naruto...its about ninjas! That doesn't mean Bleach wins though,it just means I read Bleach second and not first haha.

I prefer bleach over naruto. I love the shinigami story line and how everyone has a unique zanpaktou. The Ninja story line seems beaten to death for me and the character naruto kinda gets annoying after awhile.

With all respect towards fans of both series. I think both series lack what I used to consider great about Anime series. I'm huge collector of old OVA's and Naruto and Bleach represent to me one of the many problems with Japanese series done for the sole purpose of selling here in America.
Both series take forever with multiple story lacking episodes that has become some sort of lets say cliche in Anime. While some of this has been around since the beginning is understandable to say is part of it. However I just have a hard time getting into it because both feel a little predictable. Is like watching Dragonball Z all over again. Again not trying to put down any of the series. Just saying that I haven't been able to get into it cause I have a hard time feeling any interest on both series. On the plus side I like many of the designs elements in Bleach and if I get to choose over both I guess I prefer Bleach since I have a hard time not associating Naturo with teenage mall-rats who dressed like the character on a plain summer with no convention or Halloween around the corner. I agree on the predicability aspect especially concerning Bleach. In Bleach it's always the same set-up where first the "hero" is strong, then the "villian" surprises the hero with its own strength and takes the hero to the edge and then of course the hero then pulls it together and surprises the villian with even more strength/ultimate move and then repeat. Naruto does that as well but to a far less degree and in a less obvious build up to it IMO. I personally like Naruto because it actually moves along timeline wise. It started when he was like 11 or 12 and now he's like 15 or 16. It's cool to see the changes in him and how things evolve. Kind of off the topic but anyone read One Piece? That magna is sweeet and I actually prefer it over Bleach.
