Ha, reminds me of how one of my old buddies used to occasionally light one of his Joes on fire as a "sacrifice" to nothing in particular. Unfortunately, this was way before YouTube...he was a visionary ahead of his time, I guess.
Part of me thinks a YouTube channel where I do nothing but shoot crappy toys would be popular, but I get the feeling someone out there has to be doing that already.

I never did set any of my toys alight, but I did "battle damage" one or two of them with a wood-burner (I blame the battle-damaged Rattler panels for the idea), and I distinctly remember killing off numerous Joes with a BB gun. It was when I was growing out of toys and my friends and I discovered that if you shot a Joe guy dead-center in the chest, it would pop the screw out of their back and blow their limbs in all directions. Even today, I still think that was pretty awesome. Pretty sure we also blew 'em up with firecrackers and tied Joes (or maybe MASK guys) to bottle rockets too.

Am I the only one who imagined hearing those Star Wars figures screaming while being disintegrated by the acetone, like in the Toy Story movies?

I was thinking something more along the line of Obi-Wan's "millions of voices" bit regarding Alderaan.

I remember in eighth grade science, we were doing pairs experiments, and me and my buddy didn't want to do the typical middle school baking soda/vinegar volcano type stuff, so we did a product comparison experiment, where we froze, burned, left out in the elements, and ran over toys to see what held up the best. Let me tell you, He Man figures were some robust toys. They were barely even flammable.
I think we did GI Joe, He Man, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, and maybe one or two other lines. Fun experiment.
