Final note, I intend to have Game Rules out this evening sometime after BDB and I have a final talk about them.

The thing is to have an easy acces place to look at instead of browsing thru lots of pages. basically, you take a look first at how things are, and then you go and take a look at the latest page. Because we're better, cooler, prettier, and bigger.

COMMAND BRIDGE: LEVELER
Captain Pellaeon stared through the bridge's expansive viewports watching the CR-20 carrying the small strike force drop away. Despite the distinct absence of hostiles on the scope, he still wished that Jedi Master Hett had allowed a pair of Torrent's to escort him to the landing site. Not that there was anything that could be done about it now of course. "SIR!" Pellaeon made no motion of acknowledgement towards the frantic young ensign. "SIR!" Again, no motion. NOW the ensign got up and walked towards the captain, who promptly rounded on the junior officer. "THIS is a GAR Bridge, not some cattle market! Information is NOT simply shouted in the direction of the intended recipient. Is that clear?" The ensign visibly recoiled, but managed to stutter out an appology. "Good. Now what is it?" "Sensors have made contact with a CIS dropship entering the atmosphere opposite our current coordinates." "Show me." The ensign preoffered a datapad showing the data collected from the long-range sensor suite. "She's being flanked by a Droid Gunship sir." "I see. I'm more concerned about these two pairings," Pellaeon said, pointing to two other pairs of atmospheric traces that also appeared to be vectoring towards Bleak Point. "Do you have an ID on them?" "Not yet sir, but I'll see what I can do." Pellaeon dismissed the ensign, and suppressed a sigh. The non-clone officers on his ship were too green to be of much use in a fight. While he liked them, they still had so much to learn. He would have much rather have had an intel agent like Hallena fill that post. Even at that of her, Pellaeon felt a pang. It had been months since he'd last seen her. Though that was not entirely a bad thing. At least the crew wouldn't be gossiping about THIS romance. At least not yet. "Flight control," Pellaeon barked. "Sir?" "Send a Torrent off to keep an eye on Master Hett and his boys. It looks like he's going to have more company than we expected." NAM CHORIOS, MIDDLE OF NOWHERE Aurra Sing looked around the cramped bay at her companions. A sorry lot to say the least. She wouldn't have even thought about joining this mission unless her mysterious benefactor had payed her so well. The only SEMI-competent one among them was that walking cannon D'harhan. But even he was a blunt instrument, no finess, no pride, no immagination. Pathetic. The rest were just cannon fodder. Gorm was the nominal leader, created during the Arkanian Uprising some 30 years ago, the cyborg was a dumb as he was ugly. Though many saw him as resourceful and deadly, Sing found him pathetic. Too focused on the prey and unable to see what was right in front of his nose. Or whatever equivalent he had. The Shrike brothers were even more of a joke. Garris acted like he ran a Hutt's empire, while his brother lived in his shadow as an enforcer. Sing had never worked with such a sorry crew of misfits. Still, she would do this job, kill them as her employer required and get out. What could be easier. CIS F1 DROPSHIP. Durge stared over the metal shoulder of the pilot droid. Watching the mesa grow larger on final approach. Behind him 4 deactivated droids awaited deployment, and a full gunship hung off to the starbord side. Should anyone attempt to oppose the mission, they would be utterly destroyed. The thought brought a twisted smile to the remnants of Durge's mouth. "Commander, sensors have detected a Republic Star Cruiser on approach to the planet. A dropship appears to be on rought to the planet concurrently." Durge snapped out of his revery, shoved the pilot droid aside and stared in disbelief at the sensors. The information had come from Count Dooku himself! There was no way the republic should have known about this mission. Well, if the clones were here, then there were jedi here. "Gunship. Destroy the ship, but leave the jedi alive. He's mine." "Commander, sensors have not detected the identity of the occu...." The droid was cut off as durge crushed his vocabulator. "THE JEDI ARE HERE!!" he roared. "Land, so I can kill them."

One addition to draft proceedings.
A trivia question will be PMed to each of the leaders. The first two to get it right will be the ones who get 5-man teams. The other two will recieve drones. Questions will be related to the story posted here by me. So I suggest you read it. |

Hmmmm... let's review the last Joe/Cobra game. Us Cobras got spanked pretty good... so I'll take a Joe first because they are that good!! (Our Cobras are better)
So Henning nd BDB are controlling the drones huh? Well, I hope you 2 post early because I don't like waiting until 10pm at night to get 100%. I am kidding... don't bring a rain of fire on me yet. You can do that midway through the game! |
