ok guys, to your nostalgia stations!! I need everyone to set their way-back machines to the 80's and think hard. It's been coming up now and then and I can't remember the title. It's a movie, maybe just a short film. It was about a kid that was for some reason using a donut making machine, like one at a proper donut shop, and the machine goes wild and won't stop making donuts. Donut after donut after donut it just won't stop. I don't remember much more, I don't remember what happened in the beginning, or in the end, but I have this really strong memory of the middle bit. Anyone got something on this?

71 pages of horsesh!t.
Just trying to add some humor to our party here. Things seem so tense. And yes you are right, I can't get enough. I want my 7 packs. Its funny to read back to the first few posts of talk about staying up all night so you don't miss the release. If you can stay up for a month long, you should get the sets for free. |

you realize you put "popping up" and "c*ck tease" in the same sentence. Shame on you. Kota's ears hurt. And what the hell was that donut movie? I figured with all this talk of brownies and cookies you guys would know!!!

nah, not the simpsons, it was a live action thing. I do think the simpsons did a short take on the real film though now that you mention it! hm... in the one I am trying to remember they showed him pushing the start button and the machine went into action. they showed the whole process of forming the donuts, cooking, cooling, sorting and all that. it was like one of those old shorts on tv or before a proper movie.
edit: I've gone through google and youtube to no avail. feh. time for sleep.

See, I kinda think it's the other way around, the bot mode's great. The pictures don't do it justice. The legs aren't nearly as thin as they first appear. They're nice square posts about the same size [in "diameter"] as his head, unlike Megatron. There are actual feet on his lower legs that offer some better posing. My only question is why they insisted on putting lights in his right arm. The piping results in a static fist which really isn't a big deal, but I prefer moving fingers. Plus again, electronics equal cost. He's a very solid figure in both modes.
But in the rex mode, they decided to put in a little gimmick that makes his head shake back in forth when you, for a lack of better term, wag his tail. I find it unnecessary because it creates a flimsy feeling just behind his legs. I actually didn't realize what it was supposed to do at first while transforming him the first time. I tried to force a more solid connection for the longest time. I suppose I should've referred to the directions but honestly, he so well designed that you don't need them to transform him. Then you're stuck with something more like Godzilla than a Tyrannosaurus which, while cartoon faithful looks kinda clumsy. Quote:
That wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear about the bot commanding a $40 price premium over the droolworthy Seekers.
