So how long until the Club shows FSS 5.0 figures and we're disappointed? And then how long until those figures are actually made and then we're disappointed even more because they changed something from the initial showing?

And then how long until the same people who were disappointed line up to throw more money at the Club for FSS 6 and 7?

"volun-told" - my new fave word ever
So I thought I was all about the new Cobra Female Troops, but when I saw the official pics released today, it's really meh, in comparison to the MTF female troops that I've already spent a big all-in smack of cash on. I think I'd like to have one of the 3pks with the female troop, just to have one, but it's a hashed up mix and match figure with a too-cute no mask face.... I can slap some cobra decals on the MTF blue figs and I'm super good to go, that was the plan from the beginning when that kickstarter opened. I'm really not wild about any of the other November figs, they are all just to random in their construction or have big heads. At least that's the vibe I got on them. No interest in the FSS, too much $$ for those. I love my collection but I'm finding it harder and harder to keep going with adding anything new to it. At least, I certainly can't justify buying everything that gets put out just because it's on offer, and any completionist tendencies I may have once had are way out the window lately. Who you calling superficially sane, Hellion? Besides, just because I'm there doesn't mean I'm working. I spent an hour tonight driving around with one of my coworkers on a golf cart looking to see what the handful of women we have working there were wearing in this hundred degree weather. Yoga pants and tank tops... in case you're wondering.
Pretty much everything since my last post is why I jumped ship at Retaliation and haven't worried much since. The line was fun when it was new and five bucks a figure... tolerable when it was producing new characters, new designs and new molds at eight bucks a figure and unfortunate when it the articulation dropped, the prices kept climbing and the stuff I still had interest in was in those later waves that never get to the store shelves because of stores buying way too much of the first few waves because everyone was going to want a Channing Tatum of their own to take home. Now I just make my own Joes out of various Mega Bloks lines. One vice for another, I know. But they're so much cheaper, readily available, can be troop built in record fashion and cover just enough of my "gotta customize" urge to keep me happy. They also "scale" acceptably well with the MP Transformer line And come in Ninja Turtles Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 06-21-2016 at 05:23 AM.. |

And Halo... and now Destiny and original Star Trek. Soon He-Man, we're told/teased. If Mega Bloks could ever do Dino Riders and get Marvel out of the clutches the Lego/Disney Chimera, man, I'd have to find a second job. Or dying rich widow, whichever, I have no morals.

I still think those proportions work better for the turtles than for the peoples. But good job on those customs Hicks.

Where would a man get a passing-for-1:18th scale drum kit, I wonder. Google and dollhouse accessory sites and eBay are proving no dang help at all, gents.
