I don't mind that Colton. If he's not too crazy, I may try to grab him. I just grabbed the last 3 AT sets on Friday at 50% off ($17.99 each). I only had the Venom set originally.
Yea. As we've already discussed via PM and a little in this thread, I'm just not that into this year's set. There are a couple figures I may try to get, but nothing that I would feel incomplete about missing (possibly SB commander, Shazaam, maybe new character depending). I think it's a safe bet that all the other exclusives will be tied to this set so I highly doubt there would be a HEAT Viper or Laser Viper 3-pack that I would pounce on. It's gotta be zombie related or other Ninja Force / Eco Force guys. And I can't wait until Saturday so every arm-char Hasbro executive can finally STFU about what will/won't/should be shown at Toy Fair. Shazaam? I hear you on the Toy Fair quarterbacking.

So, Outback. Meh.
Also, typical club response to criticism in the Ozone thread. ~^~*}€€\_> I hate giving them money. |

That Outback is just awful. I may try to buy an SBC from someone, but I need nothing else from this box set.

I don't like the neon stuff usually, but the club seems to be doing a good job with it. The updates are pretty well done. The question remains, though... how bad will they muff the execution/QC?
So I dipped my toes into Ubuntu today. I've got some Unix experience, but haven't set up a system from scratch in about 15 years (and all that really was was just following the Red Hat and KDE installation instructions). And considering my version of VMware is way out of date, I had to go back a few versions of Ubuntu to match. The package managers just had my head spinning. I was much more comfortable fixing stuff from the command line. And then once I got Firefox, noscript, adblock, and clamav running, I closed the VM and went back to OS X. Much more stimulating (and relaxing at the same time) than trying to hack away at the 4 inches of ice and slush left behind by the incompetent landscapers that my apartment complex insists on hiring. |

Goodness... a better Leatherneck figure finally has arrived.
And the Viper and Nigth-vipers look pretty awesome too. The Kre-O stuff looks pretty good too. Still don't understand why they don't make the TF/Joe Crossover line though. |

Pretty happy with most everything EXCEPT the news that the ARAH Vamp mk II and Flint are the SDCC exclusives. :S

I wouldn't yet call that SDCC exclusive bit confirmed. I haven't seen that in any press release; the photo filename just says "con set," right? So, yeah, maybe, but also maybe not. Remember that Lady Jaye was once supposed to be an NYCC Comiccon exclusive. I just think it'd be a really damned odd choice.
I'm basically thrilled with the 50th anniversary line and plan to buy all of it, even the parts I already have. That Night Viper looks fantastic, will definitely be a solid squad leader for my 4 man group of greenies. As far as I'm concerned, the Hasbro presentation could've just been a rep yelling "CONCEPT CASE FLINT AND DESTRO, BITCHES," then dropping the mic and walking off, and I'd be a happy man.
