I figured Flint would be part of the Alpha Males out to bash Zombie Skulls... not one of the hippies looking a cure. Yes, I know he was part of the original ECO-Warriors but still...
Sucks for the 1:18 folks that they'll have to haggle with the 12" collectors for the extra Joe Colton. Unless he's also the bonus attendee figure. But I doubt that. That'll probably be Cesspool with his proper mechanical arm to piss off the folks who bought the FSS. |

Yeah, Freestyle (assuming that's who Fast Draw meant, and not the Crimson Asp chick) is about the only one I'd be interested in.

I meant Asp. I thought he said boxed set. I have Freestyle already.
I should have just bought the stupid boxed set when they were on order. I ended up getting all of the figures individually eventually anyway (except for Asp so far). Oh well.

That's right, Freestyle wasn't even in the box set.
I'm going back to my corner now.

I picked up a Freestyle. Looked at it, lamented the derpy eyes and laughably bad paint apps on the helmet, and into a baggie it went like the rest of my Joes.
(._.) FD, I'll keep you in mind. You got dibs on Aspie if I decide to split it. This year's set theme I'm completely ambivalent towards. Like a lot of the later ARAH stuff it's just a thing that happened after I lost interest in Joe. Even the comics avoided it IIRC, one short arc or something like that. But then they go and put T'J Hooker and Steel Brigade in it. And the club usually does a pretty good job making the troop builders interesting. And so now Colton will be available carded. That's great for the Golden Ticketeers. For the average collector it just means that there will be a more expensive version to go along with the expensive version readily found on ebay. I really hope this thing is an Iceberg (or NF LJ)-level turd. |

I honestly have almost no interest. The Steel Brigade and regular Toxo-Viper (if the 1988 version) are the only figures that might interest me if done right. I'm glad I'll save some money.

I've never had the coin for those club sets, ever, and not really too sad about it. The Crimson Guard theme set was cool, at least, I remember thinking it was cool, maybe if I looked at it again now I'd be more meh about it.

I have one figure from that set. Never had the urge to get any of the others. You know, all 3 of them.

I hit the "Ship my loot" button yesterday about this time... Got the e ship notice already. That's pretty impressive.
